Each year, members of BUGUMA-UK come together for our Annual General Meeting, a cherished moment of reflection, accountability, and forward planning. The AGM is more than just a formal gathering; it’s a homecoming of hearts, where voices are heard, stories are shared, and the legacy of our community is honored. It’s here we celebrate our achievements, renew our commitment to our values, and set a clear path for the future. For many, it’s a moving reminder of where we’ve come from and where, together, we are heading.

Father’s Day with BUGUMA-UK is a deeply touching affair, celebrating the men who guide with wisdom, protect with love, and lead with quiet strength. We come together to honour our fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and brothers, not just for what they do, but for who they are. Through shared meals, speeches, and laughter, we remind each other of the value of presence, discipline, and love in shaping future generations. It’s a moment to say thank you, and to pass on values that last a lifetime.

Once a year, BUGUMA-UK hosts a Cultural Celebration Day, a vibrant showcase of who we are and where we come from. Dressed in traditional attire, surrounded by the sounds of ancestral music and the aroma of beloved home-cooked dishes, members of all ages gather to dance, sing, tell stories, and pass on traditions. It’s a powerful day of connection, where young ones see the pride in their heritage and elders see the continuity of their legacy. For many, it’s one of the most emotional and joyful events of the year.
